Business Development Manager (Mid) for Take a Chef

🚀 What if you could own the deals that actually shape a company’s growth?

At Private Chef Manager (a Take a Chef initiative), we’re building the infrastructure behind premium private chef experiences for top travel & hospitality brands.

Our partners don’t just buy a service,  they unlock a new revenue stream, elevate guest experience, and scale something they couldn’t build alone.

And now, we’re at the stage where the right commercial hire changes everything. We’re hiring a Business Development Manager (Middle BDM).

What makes this role different

This is not just about making calls; this is full-cycle ownership of a core growth segment.

  • You won’t be:
    • ❌ Passing unqualified leads
    • ❌ Selling a rigid, one-size-fits-all product
    • ❌ Working without a clear growth path.
  • You will be:
    • ✅ Managing the B2B pipeline from discovery to signature
    • ✅ Leading consultative sales and creating tailored pilot structures
    • ✅ Working closely with BDRs to build a repeatable, high-quality commercial motion.

Your playground

  • Online Travel Agencies (OTAs)
  • Short-Term Rental Tech Companies
  • Local Property Management Companies & Homeowner Accounts

What you’ll be doing

Pipeline Generation & Management

  • Follow up and demos on qualified leads (internally or BDR-generated) and prospect new partner accounts.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across operations, guest experience, and management.

Consultative Sales

  • Run deep discovery calls to assess fit, urgency, operational needs, and revenue potential.
  • Position the value of a white-label private chef solution and move opportunities toward signature.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Keep CRM data (HubSpot) accurate and participate in pipeline reviews.
  • Share market insights, win/loss reasons, and help improve playbooks and outreach strategies over time.

You’ll thrive here if you…

  • Have 2 to 3 years of experience managing B2B opportunities through a structured full-cycle sales process.
  • Have bilingual or near-native English to lead negotiations with US/UK clients (this is a mandatory requirement).
  • Have strong discovery, qualification, and follow-up discipline.
  • Can work 100% on-site at our Madrid office (Metro Guzmán el Bueno) with a flexible start time between 9:00 and 11:00 AM.
  • Bonus: hospitality, travel, SaaS, short-term rentals, or CRM (HubSpot) experience.

What success looks like

  • You consistently convert qualified accounts into active commercial opportunities.
  • You run structured sales cycles with healthy deal velocity.
  • You help create a scalable and repeatable mid-market sales motion.

Why this is a great move

  • Take ownership of a meaningful revenue segment in a premium hospitality category.
  • Room to grow into a senior commercial role.
  • Competitive compensation: base salary + performance-based variable.
  • Direct impact on the company's B2B machinery being built from scratch.
